ARTICLE III

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to males who have attained the age of 55, have amateur status and who primarily reside within the following boundaries, or who meet the exception:

1.             East and West:

As defined by the East and West state lines of New Mexico and Colorado.

2.             South:

All counties in New Mexico, with all or a portion of their area, north of Interstate 40, EXCLUDING Bernalillo County.  (Note: The Board of Directors welcomes all applicants residing in Bernalillo County and metropolitan Albuquerque.)

3.             North:

That area of Southern Colorado that extends to approximately 50 miles North of U.S. Highway 160. (Note: The Board of Directors welcomes all applicants residing in Southern Colorado, as far north as Colorado Springs.)

4.             Exception

An individual residing outside the above boundaries will be offered membership providing he receives a majority vote of the Board.  (Note: The Board of Directors has never rejected any applicant based on their residency.)

5.            Members who move outside the boundaries may retain their membership in the NNMSMGA.
