Pre- paid Entry Fees

1.       Members may prepay their entry fees by sending checks to the Executive Director. 

Each check must be at  least $100.  Members will be notified when their prepaid balance is less than $80.

2.       Members who have prepaid their entry fees cannot enter a tournament before tournament entry forms are sent to the membership and posted on the web site’s home page.  However, if the member provides the Executive Director a written list of tournaments he wishes to enter, he will be entered in those tournaments as soon as the entry forms are sent to the membership.

3.       A member who has prepaid his entry fees must request entry into a tournament by notifying the Executive Director that he wishes to play in a particular tournament.  The member may notify the Executive Director by telephone (505-412-5854) or e-mail, nnmsmga@gmailcom.  The Executive Director will reply to the member’s request confirming which tournament(s) the member has entered and stating the member’s remaining balance.  All tournament entrants’ names will also be posted on the web site.

4.       A member may withdraw from any tournament and his money will be refunded to his prepaid account in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Section C (5).

5.       A member who has not prepaid his entry fees and withdraws from a tournament, receiving a partial refund of his entry fee, will have his refund placed in a prepaid account rather than receive a check.

6.       A member may request a refund of his prepaid fees at any time.

7.       At the end of the season each member with a balance in his prepaid fees account will receive a statement of his remaining balance and he may choose to:

a.         receive a refund check,

b.         donate the balance to the NNMSMGA Scholarship Fund, or,

c.         let the money remain in the account to be used the following year.         

8.       The prepaid account may also be used for the following purposes:

          a.         purchase of NNMSMGA shirts,

          b.         purchase of banquet tickets, and,

          c.         payment of annual dues.

9.       The prepaid account may NOT be used for the following purposes:

          a.         payment for NNMSMGA Scholarship Fund auction items, and,

          b.         payment for items purchased by the member at tournaments.
